Lanterns & Shadows
Last updated: 2026-10-04
/// Overview
Lanterns & Shadows is a single-player logic puzzle for iPhone and iPad, made by KO Labs. The short version: the app does not collect any data about you. This policy explains what little data is involved and what control you have over it.
/// Data That Stays on Your Device
Your progress (solved levels, stars, times and your daily streak) and your settings are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
/// Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, the app sends your scores and achievements to Apple's Game Center so they appear on leaderboards. That is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your Game Center identity. Game Center is optional; the game works fully without it.
/// What We Don't Do
No accounts or sign-up. No analytics, tracking, crash reporting or advertising SDKs. No ads and no in-app purchases. The app makes no network requests other than Game Center, if you use it. The app's privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data.
/// Permissions
Lanterns & Shadows does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
/// Support Correspondence
If you email support, we receive the email address and any information you choose to send. We use it only to respond to and resolve your request. Email is processed by our email provider, Google, to deliver and store the correspondence. You can request deletion of support correspondence by email.
/// Data Deletion
There is no account and no server-side data to delete. You can delete all game data at any time by uninstalling the app.
/// This Website
These pages use no analytics, cookies, or tracking scripts. The web hosting provider may process ordinary connection information needed to deliver the pages. Such web requests are entirely separate from the game.
/// Children's Privacy
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
/// Changes to This Policy
If a future version changes any of this (for example by adding optional ads or purchases), we'll update this page and the App Store privacy label before that version is released. Any changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
